MY DREAM SATELLITE – FTN-2020 - A GREEN SATELLITE
Today’s technology is designed and constructed with the perspective of improvising the life style and promoting a sophisticated life rather than providing a healthy life style and creating a better tomorrow. In my point of view technology should be combined with the thought of setting up a hassle-free world for the upcoming generation. They should be able to taste the fruit of advanced technology as well as lead a healthy, peaceful life.
Minimizing the defects caused due to global warming, which poses a great threat to the world, is the need of the hour. Thinking on these lines, the idea of creating a satellite that will enhance the educational setup of India, sparked.
My dream is to create a green world. So I dream of programming a Free-Tree Net – 2020 [FTN – 2020] satellite through which one can access free internet under the shadow of trees. It is a Geostationary satellite which can offer higher data speeds. Technology can change the beliefs of a socially constructed mind. Though environmental world is completely different from technological world, if technology ushers in, it can rule the roots of unhealthy environment and the earth will be saved.
The room of world can be retrofitted with trees and plants and the world will be set under “Free-Tree Net” to enable internet access for everyone everywhere. The satellite is directed to improvise and standardize the environment of the world by programming to access internet under tree shade. Trees on earth serve as modem to access net and the shades of the trees increase the efficiency of accessing. The access will be faster according to the thickness of the trees. It cannot be accessed inside an air-conditioned room where it is only possible with payment.
e-learning and web-conferencing under tree – free of cost. Even the multinational companies will be built trees around it. And people in small houses will intend to grow five trees at lease to access net. This e-learning environment will help in developing a ‘Go Green Globe’. Let us save our planet by living green.
The next objective of my dream satellite is to educate and equalize the rural and urban areas. Pertaining to this objective, this free tree net is more accessible in villages where the trees are still treasured than in cities. Eventually the unheard can hear and the unseen can see an educationally prospered and technologically advanced world.
